A few days ago Steven Curtis Chapman had the opportunity to visit the Bethesda Naval Medical Center, a guest of the President’s physician. It’s become a given on Steven’s schedule over the last 8 years plus.
If like me, you use MobileMe (formerly .Mac), you know that shelling out a $100 each year is really more than you want to pay, even though you may get a lot of mileage from the service. Fortunately, there are some places where you can buy an annual subscription for a significant discount. Last year and again, this year, I am using Amazon to help me save over 30% of the subscription cost.
My son, Ben, attends a university in central Florida. This is his freshman year and he is doing very well. Of course we miss him a great deal, but as his father, I am especially proud of his independence and ability to “make it on his own.” He is coming home for Thanksgiving soon; the airline ticket for his flight home and back after Thanksgiving break was atrociously expensive. → Read the rest
Like most of you, I suspect, I’ve wound up with an awful lot of white Apple earphones over the last seven years. There have been subtle changes to the earbud shape, and the iPhone introduced the wonderful clicker (click for play/pause, double-click for next track, triple-click for previous track), but one thing has remained a constant: the cords get terribly tangled when bunched up in a pocket or pouch.
