I recently finished reading Every Man’s Marriage: An Every Man’s Guide to Winning the Heart of a Woman (previously released as Every Woman’s Desire) and my synopsis is “Wow!” I have been married for almost 25 years and I thought I was a pretty good husband. Book reviews now available!

Recently, I changed my daily routine to allow me to wake up early in the morning so I could devote some time to reading.
“Perfecting” the Studio-in-a-box
I ‘twittered‘ earlier about a small project that I have been working on. I created a home-made “studio-in-a-box” using a cardboard box, tissue paper, and poster board. It turned out pretty well but the hard part for me was figuring out what lighting to use and how to position it.

I just downloaded and installed a new blog editor called Blogo by Brainjuice. Typically I create my posts either from MarsEdit or ScribeFire or from my WordPress Admin site. I am curious to try out Blogo and see how well it works.
The best lessons of 2008
As the year comes near to a close, I am reflecting on the things that I am most thankful for. To use the proverbial expression, “…drinking from a firehose…” it is difficult to cull my list to just a couple of items. However, the exercise of summarizing the year to just a few bullet points helps me focus on the essence of what I learned from the past year that I can carry with me to the coming one. → Read the rest
