The context for the book, The Templar Legacy, is detailed enough that it takes a little while for author, Steve Berry, to develop the story’s plot. I found it a little bit of a struggle to be drawn back to the novel during the early part of the book. That was not the case for the last 3/4 of the book.

Apple’s In Ear Earphones Makes the Grade
While on vacation in Florida, I used the Amazon mobile app for iPhone to order a pair of the new Apple In Ear Headphones. The cunundrum I had was that while IEH are usually the best for isolating sound I had yet to find a pair that I could comfortably wear. I used to have a pair of Shure’s that I ended up selling on eBay because they would make my ears sore after wearing them for awhile.

We ordered a new Mac Mini for my wife to use for her business. She has been using a Dell up till this time and with the new offerings from Apple, we decided now was the time to make the switch. It will be interesting to gauge her tranistion to the new platform, but I think she will enjoy it in the long run.
Verizon EVDO and Cradlepoint PHS300 – Perfect Match for Travelers
Our Verizon U720 EVDO 3G modem and CradlePoint PHS300 Hotspot router performed flawless on our month long vacation to Florida. We stayed in orange grove country with limited high speed Internet. My wife’s parents have DSL in their home, but where we were staying, there was no connection period. I plugged the EVDO modem into the CradlePoint router and we were able to access all things Internet during our entire stay.
The Roach Motel – Days Inn, Dalton, GA
We went about 13 hours yesterday from Sebring, FL to Dalton, GA. I had hoped to make it further, but I was too tired and fighting a debilitating headache all day long. We picked up supper at a Chick-Fil-A south of Atlanta. What a great place as far as atmosphere. Friendly staff – “Ya’all need anything else?”
