Overcoming Fear: C.J. Mahaney’s View from the Cheap Seats & Other Stuff

I struggled greatly with fear and unbelief in preaching. God has used so many means to deal with this sin as it relates to preaching. Kindle Changing How People Read, Publish Books – wcco.com

WCCO.com article on how the Kindle opens up publishing opportunities for authors:

The Kindle has also opened up a new world for authors.

Former Pioneer Press reporter Judy Borger struggled to find a publisher for her mystery novel “Where’s Billie,” but then a friend suggested putting it on Kindle.

“It took about a minute and a half to upload the entire book, cost me nothing,” said Borger.

Book Review: Kindle 2 for Dummies by Greg Holden

I did not anticipate this book to be a heavy read and I was correct. However, if you are a Kindle 2 (or even a first generation Kindle) owner, this book might be a good one to add to your collection. The price on Amazon was decent ($4.99 I think) and I found some new information that I was not aware of.

Book review: The Alexandria Link by Steve Berry

Another well written historical novel by Steve Berry surrounding returning characters, Cotton Malone, Henrik Thorvaldsen, and Stephanie (Cotton’s former boss). In this story, Malone is reunited with his ex-wife on an adventure from country to country in search of the lost Library of Alexandria and the tomes located within that will unlock both the mysteries of the world as well as provoke political unrest in the Middle East.
